Biomembrane-Mimetic Film for Molecular Device Applications

Jiang Long

1994, 6 (03): 195- |
Published: 01 September 1994
Abstract

Variety of biomembrane-mimetic systems such as LB film, liposome, vesicle etc.have been introduced as the functional parts of molecular devices and biosensor. The packing principle of these organized assemblies and the electron and energy transfer inner them have been dis- cussed.

Photochromism and Photonics

Fan Meigong

1994, 6 (03): 209- |
Published: 01 September 1994
Abstract

This paper reviews the lastest deveolpments and the scope of photochromism and photonics. The author summarized his group's studies on basic research and applications of the titled area. Photochromic mechanism has been studied by means of laser photolysis, time-resolved spectroscopy and the decay kinetics of intermediates.

Photochemical Hole Burning and Its Applications in the Frequency Domain Optical Storage

Wang Duoyuan

1994, 6 (03): 214- |
Published: 01 September 1994
Abstract

The photochemical hole burning is an advanced technique developed in recent years. It offers the potential for an extremely high density optical storage. In this paper the principle of the photochemical hole burning and some important properties of materials for frequency domain optical storage density are presented. Some current topics from viewpoint of the practical prospects for ultra high frequency domain optical strogage are reviewed with 37 references.

Application of Coupled Techniques of Mass Spectrometry in Analysis of Biomacromolecules

Long Yaoting, Lu Miaoqin

1994, 6 (03): 244- |
Published: 01 September 1994
Abstract

The latest developments of applications of coupled techniques of in analysis of biomacromolecules are reviewed. The cfFABMS,HPDC-cfFABMS, GPC-ICPMS,CE-MS emphasis is on the trends and mass spectrometry situation of HPLC-and CE-TOFMS,which have fast grown based on electrospray ionization(ESI) interface. This review demonstrates the unique position of coupled technique of mass spectrometry in analysis of biomacromolccules.
