This article reviews the progress in the preparation and applications of silica/aluminum-based bimodal micro/mesoporous composite molecular sieves with dual acidity , and places emphasis on the effectiveness and convenience of those routes to highly stable and catalytically active products. The foreground of this kind of composite molecular sieves is discussed.
