Recent Advances in Capillary Electrochromatography

Capillary electrochromatography (CEC) is an emerging microseparation technology , which combines the advantages of capillary electrophoresis ( CE) and high performance liquid chromatography ( HPLC) . This review summarizes the advances of the rapidly growing area of CEC in recent years , including the column techniques of packed column , open tubular column and monolithic column , the techniques of pressure-driven CEC and the techniques of detection and sample concentration. The future trends are addressed.
