Recent developments on bionic structure and function polymers, such as mulli-class structure of biomaterials, biomimetic of lotus effect and its applications, smart hydrogel, artificial extracellular matrix for cell culture, and biomimetic of biomineralization are reviewed. The possible topics of polymer materials in the field of bionic science are discussed.
