Discussion on New Technology of Plastics Garbage Disposal——Research and Development on Degradable Plastics

The state of the arts in degradable plastics is reviewed. The research and development on degradable plastics should be focused on degradation time control,biodegradable plastics synthesis, improving processing technology, lowering production costs, controllable photo biodegradable plastics, application in disposal plastics ( e. g.mulches, packing materials and dinner sets). It is of first importance to define the terminology of degradable plastics and establish evaluation method on degradation.
