The latest progress in the application of EXAFS spectroscopy in bioinorganic chemistry is reviewed. The fundamental method and information in the analysis of the interaction between the metalions and biological molecules by EXAFS spectroscopy are discussed in detail. Authors also expect the prospect in China and aboard in this research field.
