Natural gas will be the world's dominant energy sources for the 21st century. As an alternate resource to crude oil,the conversion of natural gas into liquid fuels and key chemicals appeared to be a hot topic for research. This paper describes a variety of new processes of natural gas conversion (director via syngas)being developed since 1980's.
