Nanochemistry in Imaging System of Silver Halide

Ren Xinmin

1995, 7 (01): 1- |
Published: 01 March 1995
Abstract

Entities with sizes from 1 to 100nm,which form a mesoscopic phase between macroscopic and microscopic phases, are main objects studied in nanochemistry. 'I'he mcso-scopic phase is not only a transition in size from micro toward macro, but also has itself a series of unique behaviors and functions. In this paper the impact of nanochemistry on the imaging system of silver halide and the contributions of studies on imaging process of silver halide to the development of nanochemistry have been investigated.

Progress and Trends on Carbohydrate Research

Guo Zhongwu, Wang Laixi

1995, 7 (01): 10- |
Published: 01 March 1995
Abstract

This review is a brief introduction to the recent progress on glycobiology and to the human's re一evaluations of the biological significance of carbohydrates. It has also described the present situations of carbohydrate chemistry, including structural analysis and chemical synthesis of saccharides and given some comments and foresight ahout the hot points of carbohydrate chemistry.

Dioxins and Dioxin-Like PCBs in Emissions of Combustion

Jiang Ke

1995, 7 (01): 30- |
Published: 01 March 1995
Abstract

This paper reviewed the results and trends of dioxin research in China and abroad. Toxic congeners of dioxins and the computation of their toxic equivalents, accurate analytical methods, the formation mechanism of dioxins during the combustion and the controlling emissions from incinerators, photodegradation of dioxins and their degradation products, and dioxin-like PCBs were introduced. More than 90 update references and related charts and tables were cited.

Current Situation,Development and Applications of Membrane Affinity Chromatography

Shang Zhenhua, Zhou Liangmo

1995, 7 (01): 47- |
Published: 01 March 1995
Abstract

Principle, technology, process, characteristics and development of affinity membrane chromatography are introduced. Status and affection of affinity membrane in membrane separation of biomacromoleculcs and market perspective are reviewed. Advantages and disadvantages of affinity membrane chromatography compared with other chromatographic methods are evaluated. Materials prepared affinity membrane, kinds of spacers and ligands, consideration of selection, interaction mechanism between ligand and ligatc and their dissociation process are reviewed. The applications of affinity membrane chromatography arc recommended.

Recent Advances in Analytical Chemistry

Ni Zheming, Long Yaoting, Lu Zongpeng

1995, 7 (01): 60- |
Published: 01 March 1995
Abstract

This article presents a concise survey of the recent trends in analytical themistry, covering the new advances in methodology for the analyses of trace hazardous pollutants and biologically active compounds. Mass spectrometry has made remarkable advances in regard to its ability to analyze polar and charged molecules in biological samples. The important application of capillary electrophoresis, electroanalysis, flow injection analysis and computerized instrumentation in modern analysis have been emphasized

Prospects and Research Progress on Eucommia Ulmoides Gum

Yan Ruifang

1995, 7 (01): 65- |
Published: 01 March 1995
Abstract

The Paper introduces the brief history of the development of eucommza ulmoides gum (EU gum) and the progress on basic research and applied development of this material. It is pointed out that the birth of the high elastic Eu gum, the discovery of the three stages of vulcanizing process and the three kinds of different materials, which correspond to the three stages, the building of the systematic material engineering and the development of the concept on "Unitary Material-Spectrum composed of rubbers and plastics"have brought the study on EU gum into a new stage, and moreover, promoted the development of a series of new functional materials. Finally, the prospects of the comprehensive utilization of eucommia ulmaides resources are discussed.

Developments and New Techniques of the Viscose Fiber

Xiong Jianhua, Pan Songhan, Song Rongzhao

1995, 7 (01): 72- |
Published: 01 March 1995
Abstract

The developments, new products, new process and existing problems of viscose fiber at home and abroad are reviewed. The properties, uses and economic benifit of the viscose super-microfiber are introduced. As compared with that of viscose, the technology of new solvent NMMO celleulose fibers has the advantages of simplified process, less environmental pollution and good mechanical properties of fibers.
