Reflect the development trend of world science academic journals
From a perspective of research output, this paper using bibliometric methods analyzes the following aspects for the field of Public Management: overall output, international collaborations, distribution of keywords and journals, interdisciplinary, research topics and hot topics, and funding papers, based on publications in Clarivate Analytics's Web of Science database. Combining experts’ views with bibliometric results, this paper aims to reveal the development trend of China and its international competitiveness in this field, and to provide references to policy formulation for Chinese government. The results show that, China shows a rapid-growing catch-up development trend in Public Management, with a fast progress in publication volume, academic impact and the output of highly cited papers: the international rank of China rises from 23th, 19th, 16th in 2009 to 8th, 10th, 11th in 2019 in the above three aspects respectively. However, there is still a gap between China and the USA, the top country in this field, in the above three aspects. International collaboration and research funding are the driving forces for the development of a discipline. China is relatively active in international collaboration and the research funding of which is also effective to some extent in this field.

Combining bibliometric data with experts’ views, the results show that, China shows a great potential in this field, ranking as the TOP2 country in publication volume, academic impact and the output of highly cited papers and approaching the USA, the top 1 country in this field, in the above three aspects. In additional, China is relatively active in international collaboration and the research funding of which, especially funding from NSFC, is becoming more effective to some extent in this field.
Focusing on policies, regions, technologies, products, markets, enterprises and other industry tracking elements, this article draws factual data on industry chain and technology chain of laser industry through investigation and verification. It also adopts bibliometrics, data mining and other methods to objectively reflect the development trend of China's laser industry from 2010 to 2019.
Creating, using and protecting intellectual property rights is the core competitiveness of enterprises. Based on the construction of a patent data set of automotive lightweight manufacturing process, this article quotes patent asset index calculation method of PatentSight database. We focus on the two dimensions of technology value and market value and six indicators of technology life cycle, frequency of citations, number of classification numbers, country distribution, number of patents in the same family and patent validity to identify core patents. Then we compare them with the patent strength in the Incopat database. The results show that this method is consistent with the conclusions of existing mature analysis platforms, which can effectively evaluate the patent value. The research provides reference and guidance for the industrial layout and future development of enterprises to a certain extent.
Based on bibliometric methods, this paper analyzed quantitatively of current research hot topics and national cooperation situation. VOSviewer was used to draw cluster maps and cooperative network maps to show cooperative countries and research hotspots visually. We summarized the research hotspots of COVID-19 pneumonia, and analyzed the trends of international cooperation and the differences in research hotspots. The results shows that, the current research hotspots can be summarized into 7 areas: outbreak and public management of COVID-19, pathological mechanism research, diagnostic methods, symptom research, clinical treatment, epidemiological transmission models and the auxiliary application of information technology. The number of articles published of Chinese research on COVID-19 is at the forefront in the world, and it is slightly insufficient in international cooperation. China has the closest cooperation with US, mostly in the pathogenesis and management of COVID-19, suggesting that the cooperation on diagnostic methods, clinical practice, and transmission models needs to be further strengthened.
Hydrogen energy is a clean, efficient, safe and sustainable new energy source. With high energy density and reproducibility, it is regarded as one of the most promising energy sources. Countries have incorporated the development and utilization of hydrogen energy into the national energy strategic layout. Hydrogen production technology is one of the key technologies to develop and utilize hydrogen energy. How to prepare clean "green hydrogen" is the focus of this technology research. Using science Citation Index Extension Database (SCIE) and PatSnap patent database as the main data sources, adopting the method of combining bibliometric analysis and patent analysis to analyze the global development trends of hydrogen production technology in basic research and technology R&D in recent ten years from the perspective of years, countries, institutions and topics. The results show: after 2012, both the number of publications and patent applications in the field of green hydrogen production technology have maintained a growing trend, and the number of patent grants has also increased significantly. China is the major research country in the field of green hydrogen production technology, but its comprehensive influence is not as great as that of the United States. In addition to China, the United States, Japan, Germany and South Korea are also involved in green hydrogen production, from basic research to product applications. From the perspective of research institutions, papers in the field of green hydrogen production technology are mostly completed by universities or research institutions, while the main body of patent application is the company. Photocatalytic decomposition of water to produce hydrogen and preparation of graphite / graphene electrode are the focus of basic research and technical development at present. In the future, the research and development of titanium dioxide electrode and fuel cell preparation are worthy of attention.
