Optical interconnection instead of electrical interconnection has been the research focus in recent years, while short-range optical interconnection is the development tendency of interconnection in the future. On the other hand, the chip-to-chip optical interconnection of polymer waveguide has become the superior solution to realize short distance computation. In this paper, the hot areas of research on polymer waveguide optical interconnection were analized by use of the WoS database and SPSS software. Finally, technology opportunities analysis of this area were subsequently investigated by combining morphology analysis with conjoint analysis.
With the expanding applications of industrial robot and the rapid development of modern industry, the performance of industrial robot has become increasingly demanding for the further improvement of production efficiency and product quality. Therefore, high-speed, high-precision, intelligent and modular industrial robots become the main trends. And the number of global industrial robot patents gained sustained rapid growth in recent years. In this paper, based on the Thomson Derwent Innovation Index, we analyzed international industrial robot patents, revealed global research and development trend in industrial robot patent technology with the help of TDA, Excel and other tools.
Heavy metals in the contaminated soil have poor mobility, long residence time, concealment, irreversibility and other characteristics. Heavy metals can enter the human food chain through crops, and seriously threaten food security and human health. Primary countries or regions such as USA, EU, Japan, and China have deployed actively in the technology research and development. Based on the patents data from the Derwent Innovation Index, the state of the arts of the soil heavy metal pollution and remediation has been obtained by using the statistical tools of the Orbit and Excel. By analyzing the population distributions of the patents as a function of a parameter of International Patent Classification (IPC) such as time, patentee, legal status, and technical field, the technology development trend in the soil heavy metal pollution and remediation has been identified. The results provide a reference for the industry development scheme in this field.

Medical robot becomes an important branch of the intelligent robot. The patent¡¯s number of medical robot has gained sustained rapid growth in recent years. Based on the patent data source from ISI Derwent Innovations Index, this report provides a patent analysis on international medical robot, and reveals global research and development trend in medical robot patent technology with the help of TDA and other tools.
Based on the analysis of patent applications in terms of country distribution, institution distribution, key applicants and main technology topics, this paper reveals the worldwide and domestic patents trend for nanocatalyst by using data extracted from the Derwent World Patents Index (DWPI) database and the China Paten Retrieval System (CPRS) database. And the development suggestions in this field were proposed for China research policy.
