    Based on the records in Thomson Reuters's Web of Science database, this paper uses bibliometrics method to assess the development trends of management sciences in China and the world during 2004 to 2013. The paper analyzes the aspects of the research production, academic impact, highly cited papers, international collaboration and disciplinary layout. The paper aims to compare the strength of China with the developed countries, reveal the development trend of China's management sciences and its international competitiveness, provide references to management sciences policy formulation for Chinese government.

    The international development trends of solar system exploration researches are depicted and analyzed by bibliometrics and text mining method. The overall situation and development trends of robotic solar system exploration missions and their scientific outputs are emphatically analysed and estimated, so as to provide reference for China to carry out future solar system exploration activities.

This article makes statistics toward the patent application situation of air purification, from multiple perspectives including the overall trend, geographical distribution, the key patent assignees and technical hot points. Combining the quantitative and qualitative analysis, this article reveals the air purification industry development and global competition situations.

    With a review of the background and overall patent situation of seven main strategic emerging industries, this report systematically sorts out and analyses the patent statistics of the said industries, draws conclusions in aspects on application number, global technology hotspot, main innovative countries, main competitive markets, applicants, etc. Thereafter, it offers several proposals for further development based on these analysis, which provides supports for policy making to related industries and government departments.
