This article takes the Web of Science papers of stomatology during 2009-2018 as a sample. It conducts a bibliometric analysis on the output scale, academic influence, performance of highly cited papers, the performance of important journal papers, international cooperation, the layout of sub-disciplinary fields, grant funding and other related indicators, aiming to understand the development trend of Chinese and world stomatology, compare the research strength of China and related countries in the world, analyze the advantages and shortcomings in the field of Chinese stomatology, and provide references for the formulation of stomatology development strategies and disciplinary policies. The study shows that stomatology in China grew rapidly from 2009 to 2018, but there is still a large gap with the top-ranked country United States. The rank of China in publication volume, academic impact and the output of highly cited papers is 5th, 5th, and 8th respectively in 2009-2013, and rises to 3th, 2th, and 2th in 2014-2018. In addition, the international collaboration rate in Chinese stomatology research is low, with less than 30% of papers having international collaborations. In scientific funding, NSFC has played an important role in promoting the output of SCI papers in Chinese stomatology.

This research focuses on the field of artificial intelligence, and makes a thorough analysis of the projects and their research results around the fund projects of the major funding institutions in the global mainstream countries / regions, (1) Through statistical analysis, this paper investigates the key points of discipline layout of governments in different countries / regions; (2) By introducing the index of comprehensive research intensity, the number of funded projects, the academic productivity of funded projects and the academic influence of funded projects are comprehensively used to analyze the research focus and research ability of participating institutions; (3) Combined with co-occurrence analysis, this paper introduces the topic heat index, considers the number of co-occurrence topics, the total number of co-occurrence times, and word frequency of research topics in multi-dimensional, and analyzes the distribution of research topics, research hotspots, and potential research generated by funded projects in the field of artificial intelligence. It is found that the field of artificial intelligence is an interdisciplinary convergence field. The development of artificial intelligence provides research methods and tools for business / management, psychology, physics, clinical and other research. The joint participation of different disciplines promotes more extensive research on artificial intelligence, and the research topics are diversified. Based on the above findings and analysis, this paper intends to provide data support and decision-making reference for the formulation of science and technology policy and the planning of research layout in this field in China.

Chronic diseases have become a major public health problem affecting the country’s economic and social development. The long-term care of patients with chronic diseases, especially elderly patients, has been widely concerned. This bibliometric study focused on long-term care of patients with chronic disease, which analyzed the article citations in the PubMed and SinoMed database published between 2010 to 2020, and used visualization tools such as DDA and VOSviewer to analyze the research hotspots and emerging hotspots of long-term care for chronic diseases globally. The results show that researches of long-term care of chronic diseases involve many kinds of diseases, and more articles are about home care. Domestic research on long-term care of chronic diseases involves few types of chronic diseases and focuses on preventing complications, and the technical content is insufficiently detailed. The domestic literature on new technologies and methods of long-term care is scarce. In the future, with the increasing number of elderly patients with chronic diseases, it is necessary to strengthen the innovative research and application of long-term care methods and technologies.

Data journal has become one of the main forms of scientific data sharing. It is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the article characteristics of data journals for all kinds of stakeholders. Take China Scientific Data as an example, use the method of bibliometrics to investigate the basic situation of the quantity distribution, author distribution, organization distribution, discipline field, fund project, cited situation and research topic of the documents since its inception. This paper analyzes the basic characteristics of articles published in data journals in China from two aspects of external characteristics and content characteristics, points out the existing problems and puts forward some suggestions for improvement. The study found, the number of articles in China Scientific Data has gone through three stages: initial stage, growth period and development stage. It formed a core author group based on core institutions, the articles covered various disciplines, the support rate of fund projects is high, but the citation rate and quantity of articles are relatively low. Research topics mainly focus on climate, ecology, biology, scientific data, remote sensing, geology, etc. The number of articles is small, weak participation, uneven distribution of disciplines, insufficient academic influence are the main problems of China Scientific Data. It can be solved by increasing the literature collection, expanding the author group, balancing the subject field, and enhancing the academic influence.

This paper sorts out the related research on the construction of institutional knowledge base in China, and obtains the research status and development trend of institutional knowledge base, in order to provide reference for the further study of institutional knowledge base. This paper takes 821 articles about institutional repository in CSSCI journals as the research object,and analyses its annual distribution, authors institutions and cooperation, and summarizes the research hotspot of institutional repository by using the DDA, UCINET, VOSviewer, Citespace software knowledge mapping. The results show that Chinese scholars pay more and more attention to the research of institutional repository. Different scholars and institutions have different research productivity and influence in the field of institutional repository, and some scholars and institutions have also carried out close cooperative research in this field. The research hotspots of institutional repository in China focus on the role of institutional repository in data management and knowledge service, the construction of institutional repository abroad, the technical model of institutional repository, the application of institutional repository in various professional fields and the policy research of institutional repository.
