    In order to grasp the landscape and development trends in graphene research around the world, we used structured literature information and data from CAS and applied quantitative analysis and text mining methods.This analysis focused on the overall trends, research topic distribution and evolution, distribution of substance properties and applications, country/regional distribution, potential competitive organizations, and other aspects of the global graphene research. These results will be a valuable reference for scientists, decision makers, scientific research management experts, policy experts and industrial experts to understand the landscape and trends of science and technology.

    This paper studies the principle, origin and evolution of topic model, analyzes the research progress of topic model both China and world, so as to provide reference and idea for related researchers. Based on Web of Science Core Collection and CNKI (China Academic Journals Full-text Database), this paper retrieves and screens related articles which the subject is “topic model”, adopts bibliometrics method to analyze the distribution of public year, institutions, authors, disciplines and journals, summarizes the research hotspots of topic model. This paper reveals that the topic model research is in the high-speed growth both China and world, as the rising star of topic model research, China has become the major research group in this field, and plays an important role in promoting the development of topic model. In addition, there are similarities as well as differences in the research contents and hotspots between China and world, the differences reflect in research level, research methods and research objects.
