    [Objective/Significance] Under the strategic background of international competition, quantum information technology has become the frontier of a new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation. China is a global leader in the field of quantum communication research and has achieved a series of significant achievements. This field is one of the representative research directions in which China leads global innovation. [Method/Process] In order to have a more comprehensive and systematic understanding of the research topics, development and research strengths in the field of international quantum communication, this research takes 4,500 papers on quantum communication in the Science Citation Index (SCI) database as the research object to analyze countries, institutions, and keywords. Using a combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis methods, we hope to explore the evolution trend and frontier hots of quantum communication research from the perspective of development stage, research strength, research theme, etc., and provide reference for Chinese government and research institutions to make decisions on the theoretical research and application of quantum communication. [Results/Conclusions] Quantum communication research can be divided into three distinct stages in terms of thematic evolution, and the research hots in each stage are different. At the national level, China has developed extremely rapidly in the field of quantum communications and is now in a leading position. At the institutional level, there are many inter-institutional cooperation networks, and Chinese scientific research institutions occupy a dominant position. At the researcher level, Chinese authors show high influence in the field of quantum communication. From the perspective of future development trends, quantum network, orbital angular momentum, quantum cryptography, quantum memory, quantum Internet, and security are the frontier themes in the field of quantum communication in the future.

    [Objective/Significance] As a technology with large-scale emission reduction potential, carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS) has attracted increasing attention from major countries. [Method/Process] This paper reviewed the strategic plans of CCUS technology in major countries and regions, and analyzed the international CCUS research and development trend in conjunction with global CCUS patent measurement. [Results/Conclusions] The study findings revealed that: (1) major countries and regions such as the United States and Europe have introduced comprehensive policy measures to promote the commercial application of CCUS, but China is relatively lagging in the construction of related strategic planning and laws and regulations. (2) The number of CCUS patent applications in the world is on the rise, and it is expected to see a new round of growth in the future under the background of carbon neutrality targets proposed by major countries around the world. (3) China, United States, Japan, Germany, Korea, France and the United Kingdom are the main source countries of CCUS patents, and carbon capture and utilization are the focus of attention of the countries. Patents are mostly in the hands of large global companies such as industrial gas, petrochemical and engineering technology. Finally, some suggestions are put forward for the development of CCUS in China.

    [Objective/Significance] Carbon reduction in the transport sector is difficulty for countries to achieve carbon neutrality goals. Technological innovation is the key to promoting the green and low-carbon transformation of transportation. [Method/Process] Based on the PCT patent data in recent 20 years, this paper uses bibliometrics to analyze the research and development trend of carbon neutralization technology in transportation sector. [Results/Conclusion] (1) Carbon neutralization technology in transportation has developed rapidly since 2000.The market has shown a stable trend. (2) The main research forces are distributed in Japan, the United States, South Korea, Germany, France, the United Kingdom and China. Japanese enterprises represented by Toyota dominate the market. (3) Electric drive technology, lightweight technology, electric battery technology, fuel cell technology, carbon neutralization alternative fuel, intelligent interconnection, automatic driving and travel service system design of electric vehicles and hybrid vehicles are the research hotspots of carbon neutralization technology in transportation sector. This study aims to provide decision support for future market deployment and policy formulation in the transport sector.

    [Objective/Significance] As a strategic cutting-edge technology drawing much attention, metamaterial is of significant scientific value, playing a disruptive role in many application areas. This article analyses the study situation of metamaterial based on bibliometric method, thus providing a reference for the study and practice concerning metamaterial. [Method/Process] Based on the bibliometrics analysis of metamaterial articles in Scopus and Web of Science Core Collection databases, this paper reveals the general trend of metamaterial research, processes the data with CiteSpace, and analyzes the research focuses and research hotspots in the field of metamaterial. [Results/Conclusions] From the perspective of research situation, in the past 20 years, the number of papers related to metamaterials has been increasing year by year. China and the United States are major research forces and lead in both quantity and quality of output. As for research content, electromagnetic metamaterials account for the highest percentage of research in this field, and the research process can be divided into three stages: the research of basic content, the expansion of application fields, and the definition of new concepts of digital metamaterials. In the past three years, scholars in the field of electromagnetic metamaterials have focused on the contents of metamaterial absorbers (MA), graphene metamaterials, etc.

    [Objective/Significance] To study the technology factor market in the “Middle Triangle” is conducive to grasp the inner mechanism of technology market in this region, helpful to the reform of science and technology innovation system and mechanism, and will contribute the high-quality development of regional economy. [Methods/Processes] This paper compares the current characteristics of the technology factor market in the “Middle Triangle”, and analyzes the key factors for governing the technology factor market in terms of supply and demand of technology factors, allocation of technology factor circulation and market environment. [Results/Conclusions] The measures for the governance of the technology factor market in the “Middle Triangle” are proposed from three aspects, including the supply mechanism of technology factors, the transaction mechanism and the optimization of market service ecology.

    [Objective/Significance] To establish a scientific data standard specification system to guide the construction of scientific data resource development and sharing service platform in Jilin Province, [Method/Process] this paper compares the development status of scientific data standardization work at home and abroad, and analyzes the problems faced by the scientific data standard specification system in Jilin Province. [Results/Conclusions] This paper proposes the design of the scientific data standard specification system of the platform, the framework composition and its elements. It suggests that the scientific data standard specification system should be constructed from 2 directions of data standard specification and technical standard specification of the platform. It also puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to guide the application of the scientific data standard specification system on the ground from the aspects of policy specification, regional cooperation and scientific research projects.

    [Objective/Significance] Basic research is the cornerstone of the development of all technologies, and energy issues have attracted extensive global attention. China urgently needs to systematically evaluate the development status and international status of basic energy science. [Method/Process] Based on the report "Whether American Basic Energy Science Is Competitive" issued by the U.S. Department of Energy in 2021, this paper compares the development status and international status of various sub-directions in the energy field of the United States and China, and puts forward some suggestions for the development of basic energy science in China. [Results/Conclusions] Research shows that in the five fields of basic energy science, the United States is currently the leader in most sub-directions or is in a leading position, and there is a risk of backwardness in some sub-directions in the next five to ten years. There are three major problems: advanced research facilities face threats such as slow growth, upgrading and lack of support; the funding for junior talents in the United States is low and lack of continuity, and the top talent program is threatened by relevant programs in other countries; the transformation of basic research in the field of energy basic research in the United States and the development of basic research in the industry are relatively weak. China also has many problems in the five fields of basic energy science, such as uncompitetive sub-directions, bottlenecks in the introduction of international talents, insufficient attention to the excavation and training of primary talents, and research ecosystem in needs of improvement. It is suggested that China should strengthen the research on the weak sub-directions in the five fields of basic energy science; strengthen the environmental creation of large-scale facilities and platforms, and enhance the influence of facilities and platforms; focus on the weak links, introduce top international talents, and pay attention to the exploration and training of short primary talents; strengthen the top-level planning of basic energy science and form a virtuous circle of parallel development of basic research and industrial research.
