Because of the capacity of self-renewal and multi-directional differentiation, stem cells have got general concerns from the researchers of almost every country in the world. This research enthusiasm brings hope for the clinical application of stem cell therapy. By applying bibliometrical methods, this paper analyzes the research situation of stem cells and three core areas of stem cells, induced pluripotent stem cells, embryonic stem cells and mesenchymal stem cells, and summarizes the developmental trends and key research directions. It also provides recommendations for the measures needed to be taken and the future development directions in China in stem cell area.
This paper is the second part of the two-part paper, which analyzes the development characteristics based on different sector and different kinds of economy enterprises of China’s high-tech industries. Five sectors are analyzed, including Aerospace & Aviation Manufacturing, Electronic and Telecommunication Equipment Manufacturing, Computer and Office Equipment Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Medical Equipments,and as well as Meters Manufacturing. The innovative features of State-owned and State-holding Enterprises, three kinds of Foreign-Invested Enterprises and other Domestic Enterprises of high-tech industries in China are also revealed.
Composite materials have characteristics of light weight, high strength, easy processing, flexibility, good chemical resistance and good weather resistance, which have been widely used in aerospace, automobile and other fields. In recent years, more composite materials have been rapid developed and they are playing a major role in human life. In order to show the development status and its evolution of composite materials technology, the analysis of patent literature from 2000-2008 (data from Derwent Innovations Index (DII) of ISI WoK) is carried out using analysis tools TDA and Aureka.
This paper makes statistical analysis on the patents in force as of the end of 2009. On this basis, the fundamental situation of both domestic and foreign patents in force was mastered and analyzed.
