Ecomaterials is a new type of functional materials. As the research keeps up increasing rapidly, ecomaterials has become one of leading topics and focus frontiers in material science. In order to show the development status, the focuses of R & D and the distribution of R & D and its evolution, the analysis of patent literature from 2000-2008 (data from Derwent Innovations Index(DII)of ISI WoK) is carried out using analysis tools TDA and Aureka.
