    [Objective/Significance] In recent years, it has aroused the key attention in the technical field of constructional structure steel industry with the rapid development of steel structure. [Method/Process] Using the methods of patent analysis and literature review, the overall development trend of the technical field of constructional structural steel was analyzed in detail from the aspects of patent application situation, advantageous institutions at home and abroad, and their key technology development. The contents of analysis mainly included the development track of the key patents of advantageous institutions in this field, such as compositions and structures, processing process, functionality and welding methods. Based on the obtained results, the technical characteristics of domestic and foreign institutions were compared and summarized, which may provide instructive inspirations for the technical R&D layout of related institutions in China. [Results/Conclusions] Japan and South Korea are outstanding in the technology, while the R&D started relatively late in China. The technology of special performance building structural steel is insufficient and scattered. It is necessary to accelerate the establishment of a diversified industrial chain,and expand international market furtherly.

    [Objective/Significance] In the context of expanding international exchanges and cooperation in science and technology and promoting the construction of "double first-class" disciplines, the characteristics of national scientific research cooperation network in the field of materials are analyzed to provide reference for the development of international cooperation of disciplines. [Method/Process] The ESI highly-cited papers in materials science during 2018-2022 were selected, and the national subject network characteristics of highly-cited papers in materials science were analyzed from the perspectives of international publication performance, national cooperative network centrality, network density, K-kernel cohesive subgroup, state-institution-topic relationship, and so on by using bibliometric and social network methods. [Results/Conclusions] The results show that countries with a high proportion of high-level scientific research cooperation in the field of materials include Australia, Germany, Britain, Canada, etc. The quality of cooperative papers from the United States, Australia, Singapore, Germany, the United Kingdom and other countries is higher; The number of countries cooperating in scientific research is increasing year by year, and the network of national cooperative entities is growing. The network has a scale and core-periphery country subgroups have appeared, but the overall network density still has room to increase, and the cooperation between countries needs to be strengthened.

    [Objective/Significance] Henk F. Moed is the winner of the Derek de Solla Price Medal in 1999 and a world-famous scientist in the Scientometrics area. His research has significant influence in Scientometrics areas and can be a valuable reference for Chinese Scientometrics community. [Method/Process] 179 publications authored by Henk F. Moed have been obtained from the Web of Science, and trend analysis, collaboration network analysis, topics analysis, and citation analysis have been applied to the data analysis. [Results/Conclusions] Henk F. Moed is not only highly productive but also has a high citation impact in the scientific community. He had a rich professional experience and established extensive collaboration relations in his scientific career. His research is relativity focused on citation analysis, bibliometrics, and other methods to carry out research evaluation. He has published many highly cited papers and received a wide impact in the scientific community.

    [Objective/Significance] National security is the basic prerequisite and guarantee for the survival, development and prosperity of a country. The research of the national security field of the United States can provide reference for the national security research of our country. [Method/Process] Based on the 6 622 literatures in the field of US national security from 2012 to 2022 collected in the core collection of Web of Science, the author/institution co-occurrence network, keyword co-occurrence network and keyword timeline were visualized and analyzed by using CiteSpace and VOSviewer bibliometric software. Moreover, the research status, hot topics and development trends in the field of US national security were revealed. [Results/Conclusions] The amount of literature published in the field of national security research in the United States has increased exponentially. Food safety, climate change, and physical layer security are research hotspots, while wireless communication, the Internet of Things, smart grid, and neural networks have become frontier topics in national security research.

    [Objective/Significance] Standard digitization is of great significance to promote the transformation of standardization work in China towards digitization, networking, and intelligence. [Method/Process] Based on the IncoPat technology innovation intelligence platform, global patent data from 2001 to 2022 is analyzed from five aspects: international macro situation, domestic macro situation, domestic meso technology innovation trend, evolution of domestic meso technology hotspots, and unique technological advantages of typical institutions in domestic micro industries. [Results/Conclusions] (1) The core competitiveness of standard digital technology in the United States is strong, and it has shifted from basic theoretical research to technological application research, with research hotspots focused on system extension and application. (2) China has carried out standard digitization exploration in fields such as standardization, aviation, intelligent manufacturing, electronic communication, and power, with a focus on three technical directions: data processing, data label identification, and system extension application. (3) Standard digital technology has different research focuses and technological advantages in different industries such as standardization, aviation, intelligent manufacturing, electronic communication, and power. (4) China Southern Power Grid and State Grid have the highest number of patents in the field of standard digitization. (5) The digital transformation of Chinese standards urgently needs to focus on key technologies such as standard text data source management mechanism, standard data structured disassembly technology, standard data label set construction technology, standard semantic data dictionary technology, standard data interaction interface technology, standard data resource library construction technology, and standard information management platform application technology.
